We are looking for a Contract Operations Accountant in our Calgary office.

Role Summary - 1 Year Contract

Your primary roles include performing general accounting operations of financial transactions.

The Operations Accountant responsibilities include obtaining and analysing reports obtained from business system prior to preparing the corresponding month-end journal entries. This includes reconciling account balances, bank statements, payroll and maintaining general ledger accounts. The successful Operations Accountant combines excellent analytical skills, attention to detail with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.

The Operations Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all our accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate must be able to deliver results in a dynamic environment and provide strategic guidance to multiple divisions. The candidate will provide clear reporting that improves the decision making of our leaders. The successful candidate is able to thrive in an ever-changing environment, build relationships naturally, adapts quickly, and communicates effectively.
